On Thursday 27 November Age Connects Cardiff and the Vale ran a Christmas Fair in the Barry Council Offices to raise funds for the Senior Health Shop. And, as always willing members of the group made a wide rnage of items for sale – hats, mittens, cardigans, crocheted blankets and hand puppets.
In addition to the knitted goods there was also an interesting array of other craft items for sale.
The mayor and his wife opened the event but in our view were upstaged by a volunteer who modelled a trendy Santa outfit!
An enjoyable morning and hopefully a lot of fundsraised!
